PLEASE SCROLL ALONG FOR THE STILL LIFE PHOTOGRAPHS YOU WILL NEED FOR THE CLASS
This a recorded class on Zoom so the quality of the video can vary
You will need…
Paper:
8-12 x sheets of watercolour paper A5-A4 size (an assortment of hot press and cold press and
different brands is ideal. But you could also use pages from a sketchbook too as long as the
paper is suitable for watercolour painting. I like Etchr sketchbooks, Moleskine watercolour
sketchbook or Hahnemuhle is great too.
Brushes:
1-3 x watercolour paintbrushes ranging from fine to a larger mop. I use a range of brushes that
range from cheap synthetic, to sable, squirrel hair and Japanese calligraphy brushes.
Paints:
1 x set of watercolours preferably that includes A warm red, yellow and blue and a cool red,
yellow and blue as well as a black. I have attached this set for a reference of colours I use.

A palette to mix colours on. An old white plate works wonderfully well.
A pencil
Water vessels and paper towel (just in case!)
A sponge brush (but not essential- a large mop brush will work just as well)
All levels are welcome.
