Working from an abundant still life of plants and objects, you’ll move between additive and subtractive drawing methods to find form through process. Through printmaking-inspired techniques, layering, erasing, and redrawing, you'll build multifaceted and complex surfaces.
Claire’s practice moves fluidly between painting, printmaking, and ceramics, and in this class she invites you to bring that same sense of translation to your drawings. You’ll experiment with how color, pressure, and repetition can shape perception, learning to see beyond accuracy and into atmosphere.
