Join Nancy as she walks us through the composition of an acrylic painting from start to finish. This is a two-part course.
In the first class, we will make painted studies of objects which we will cut out in order to explore composition, inspired by a process Henri Matisse used in 1940.
In the second class, we will consider a variety of compositions with our cut-outs before settling on one to serve as inspiration for our final painting.
