An hour to sit down and write.
Not the polished version. Not the finished thing. The idea that’s been buzzing. The piece that needs another hour of your attention.
We gather, arrive briefly with a poem and a prompt to take us somewhere unexpected, then we write quietly.
This is an hour you give yourself. A small, deliberate act of attention. Of seeing what happens when you show up.
You don’t need to be ‘a writer’. You don’t need a plan. Just bring something to work on - or start from scratch.
Come as you are, with a pen and a willingness to begin.
I have done one of these evenings, I had to miss my second one, and hope to be at the third session. It was very enjoyable to have this quiet space to focus on your own writing and knowing others were doing the same felt very connected. Thanks for giving me this time.
Perfect 👏
I took a chance on this. Olly presents the session with serenity, spontaneity and vast experience. It provides me with the opportunity to be nowhere else, just there, in the moment. It makes me think about things I wouldn't normally think about. Time for me, just being. Happy I took the chance.
