Join Joanna for an exploratory landscape painting workshop that puts imagination ahead of observation. Rather than trying to capture an image exactly as it appears, we will explore how colour, shape, and line can suggest a sense of place or atmosphere.
Using source imagery as a starting point, we will experiment and improvise, moving between the recognisable and the abstract to discover images through the act of painting itself.
No previous painting experience is necessary — just a willingness to explore and have fun with the medium.
Once you have bought the class you will be sent the materials list in a separate email. Please download the file and check you have everything you need for the class.
